Our worship services are every Sunday at 10 AM. During the service, childcare is provided for infants and toddlers as well as Church School for grades K-12.
Our church, a stone structure in the Gothic Revival style, is located in the heart of Burlington, at the corner of College and Union Streets, next to the Fletcher Free Library and across from the YMCA. ( Map )
All are welcome to worship with us. Our weekly worship, led by the Rev. Charles M. Purinton, Jr., incorporates long-standing traditions with a conscious intent to envision God’s calling for the Church in the 21st Century. Some come to be inspired by our worship services and music, others to join in our mission, and others to engage in our Christian education programs. Our membership includes peoples of different faiths and religious traditions as well as people in search of faith who have found a welcoming, inspiring and intellectually stimulating experience within the walls of our church. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month and all are invited to the Communion table, regardless of religious affiliation.
We encourage you to browse this website to learn of the various ways we seek to serve God and each other. As a congregational church, all are encouraged to participate in its life, governance and ministries, many of which are represented on this website. These activities are supported by a small staff that serves as our partners in ministry. The content of this website reflects the many voices which make us a unique body of faith.
We hope to see you at College Street Congregational Church!
